We are seeking a seasoned Consultant to play a pivotal role in ensuring the stability, efficiency, and future-readiness of our client’s invoice processing capabilities. This is a high-impact opportunity involving delivery, rigorous testing, and deep business engagement. The Role As the OpenText VIM Consultant, you will lead the functional configuration and optimization of the VIM platform within a complex SAP landscape. Your expertise will be vital in bridging the gap between technical execution and business requirements, ensuring that Finance and Accounts Payable teams benefit from seamless, automated workflows. Key Responsibilities Solution Delivery: Lead functional configuration, perform fit-gap analyses, and support platform upgrades or migrations to cloud environments. Testing & QA: Own the end-to-end testing lifecycle, including SIT, UAT, and regression testing . You will manage defect triage and ensure cross-functional validation. Business Engagement: Act as the bridge between IT and Finance, translating complex business needs into functional specifications and promoting best practices in invoice automation. Workflow Optimization: Refine OCR capture, validation rules, and approval chains to drive higher straight-through processing (STP) rates. Technical Collaboration: Partner with SAP technical teams to ensure seamless integration between VIM, SAP FI/AP, and external document management systems. Technical Skills & Experience To be successful in this role, you will bring a blend of technical mastery and process knowledge: OpenText VIM Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience in the configuration and support of OpenText VIM. SAP FI/AP Knowledge: A deep understanding of SAP Financials and Accounts Payable processes. Project Lifecycle: Proven track record in delivering VIM upgrades, migrations, or large-scale enhancements. Testing Rigour: Demonstrated experience leading SIT and UAT cycles within an enterprise environment. OCR Technologies: Familiarity with invoice capture and data extraction tools. Nice to Have: Experience within SAP S/4HANA environments. Exposure to cloud-hosted SAP/VIM solutions. Familiarity with SAP workflow and document management tools. Why Join This Project?
